Brad McCown

 

Before building I spent most of my career in the agricultural industry (17 years). When I decided to have a change of career, building was something that interested me, so was on top of my list. I have enjoyed every part of my apprenticeship at Nixon homes and love the quality of workmanship that it has taught me and that we strive for. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, fishing and most outdoor activities.

 

 

Liam Gibbons 

 

With 18 years of experience as a builder, my passion for building is still alive. From the age of 17 to now Forman at Nixon Homes the opportunity to create, construct and bring clients dreams to life and build top quality homes is what drives me. I take pride in my workmanship, attention to detail and overall presentation. With high expectations of myself, I will only hand over a home that I’d be happy to live in myself. Winning a Master Builders ‘House of the Year’ award in 2011 was and still is a highlight of my building career. Off the building site, with a young son by my side, you’ll find me on the sidelines of school sports, fishing, snowboarding or with friends and family. I look forward to building your dream home.

 

 

Jordan Haworth

 

Hi I’m Jordan, one of the foreman at Nixon Homes and stoked to be a part of the team. I’ve been building since I left school about 14 years ago and still have a passion to keep pushing myself and my crew to do the very best we can, I wouldn’t build anything I wouldn’t be happy to live in. I have a young family at home so I enjoy putting in a good, hard days work. In my spare time, if I’m not with family you’ll catch me either in the bush hunting or in the sea either spearfishing or by rod. Well that’s me! I look forward to seeing you on site and building your home together.

 

 

Sean Savage

 

Sean is currently completing his building apprenticeship and has been building for over 2 years. He enjoys the diverse range of challenges which arise each day, especially the numbers aspect of the job. One day Sean hopes to be a project manager but for now he’s happy furthering his knowledge in the building industry.

 

 

Sungsu Kim

 

I took up building as the benefits of “Earning while learning” really perked my interest as well as a few other aspects such as working in a team environment and being able to up-skill, even after being qualified. In my time working for different construction companies I realised that to become a great builder, not only do you have to put in the work but you also have to have the guidance to achieve this. During my time at Nixon Homes under the 60 odd years of experience between my foreman and Cam, with their keen attention to detail, I’m confident I’ll be able to achieve my goal in the building industry.

 

 

Clinton Seddon

 

A builder since the age of 15 , Clint brings to the Nixon team 13 years of experience. As one of the foreman, Clint knows the importance of having efficient systems in place, saving time and getting things done correct the first time resulting in the highest quality finish. Clints attention to detail and always completing work to a high standard means clients are always over the moon with their home.
