About Us

Nixon Homes is a family-run business, building residential homes in the wider Waikato Region. Brother’s Mike and Cameron Holmes co-founded Nixon homes in 2019 after seeing a gap in the market to provide a more personal experience for clients while building quality homes that are well-managed, hassle-free, and cost-effective.

  • Cameron Holmes

    From a young age, Cameron has been taught to build by his father. After school, he gained his apprenticeship and has since gained 12 years of experience working in prestigious building companies in Hamilton, Christchurch, and Auckland as both a builder and later a Site Manager. He is passionate about quality and has the skills to manage the full scope of the project.

  • Mike Hamilton Builders

    Mike Holmes

    Mike is a project manager with an engineering degree from Waikato University. He works behind the scenes supporting Cameron with business strategy, customer management, administration tasks, and project reporting.
